This popular family theme park in Tamworth, Staffordshire, was looking to modernise its CCTV system and turned to CIE-Security Approved Installer for assistance. With public safety being of main concern, Drayton Manor required a system which combined the latest technologies with minimal user intervention. When their latest ride ‘Excalibur’ opened in spring 2003 the Everfocus EDR1600 Ansabac fitted their requirements perfectly. 10 cameras were installed around the ride and images fed back to the Digital Recorder in the main control room. An additional monitor on the ride operator's console ensures that public safety is maintained at all times.

As expansion of the park continues, the flexibility and network availability of this particular system will enable Drayton Manor park to remain at the forefront of public safety and security.
